I have chosen the Guggenheim Bilbao and the Guggenheim NYC buildings for my comparative study because these two buildings considerably relate to one another in numerous aspects. The two buildings were built in two completely distinct countries, by two dissimilar architects, however serve similar functions and are mutually phenomenal and emblematic. Both museums are momentous landmarks to millions of visitors around the world. Guggenheim Bilbao and the Guggenheim NYC are an excellent choice for me to execute a comparative study upon, thus the two tremendous buildings profoundly represent a haven for the most superior contemporary masterpieces, and subsequently embody a universal and eminent network of museums around the globe. Nevertheless at the very core of those two buildings, resides the vast impact and affection that these two museums have left in the hearts and minds of the people. Both Guggenheim Museums are nowadays an ever-growing and international institutions dedicated to the art of the 20th century and beyond.
