There are thousands of internet related health websites with reliable and non reliable information. The information on the sites may be current old, choosing the website to trust is therefore worth thinking about.
- How did you start? What resources did you find?
Like anybody else, the information required is searched using any search engine. I wanted to find information on ways and means by which we can maintain heart function by knowing heart diseases. There is a lot of formation on the internet about heart and vascular diseases. Most of the information is posted everyday but not all are true. Other sites do not give precise information since you are required to click many pages before the information required is arrived at. It has the name of the sponsor on the front page and on every page opened.
- How do you decide which are valid and which are not?
As a rule, I know that any Federal Government sponsored health website is a good source of helpful health information. A commonly known U.S. health site is arrived at by visiting www.usa.gov.
